Erica Fox serves as Manager of Government Affairs & Public Policy for Google, advising product leadership on global competition issues in support of the Google Play business.
Erica has worked at the intersection of technology, public policy and politics for the past fifteen years. Prior to Google, Erica served as Lead for U.S. Public Policy at Cloudflare, helping the company navigate their IPO in Washington and advising company leadership on content moderation, intermediary liability, trade, and privacy issues. Erica previously served as a Manager of Government Affairs at Apple, where she helped grow the public policy function in DC, leading campaigns on encryption, privacy, safety and competition.
Erica previously served on the board of the Internet Infrastructure Coalition, and is currently an Executive Fellow at the Economic Club of Washington DC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Vassar College, and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
